Harold Gentry received this notification from the Texas Education Agency saying that Cleburne ISD has requested and been granted an extra 30 days to respond to the Preliminary Report given them on March 11.

Dear Mr. Gentry,

As the complainant on file for the agency’s investigation of the district’s administration of federal awards, I am writing to inform you that the district requested and was granted an additional 30 calendar days to respond to the preliminary investigative report. The district’s response is now due by May 12, 2008. Upon receipt of the district’s response, auditors anticipate that it may take up to an additional 30 calendar days to review the district’s response and to prepare and issue the final report. A copy of the final report shall be issued to your attention at the time that it is released to the district.
