DAVID JOHNSON NAMED TO CFO POSITION

David Johnson, C.P.A., will serve as chief financial officer for Cleburne ISD, following Board of Trustees action Monday night.

Johnson has more than 18 years experience in accounting, including four years as CFO with Keene ISD from 2003-06. He is currently affiliated with a public accounting practice in Granbury.

The majority of his career has been in public accounting, which includes work with public school districts in the audit process. His resume also includes two years in corporate tax accounting.

Johnson is a graduate of Cleburne High School. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Baylor University.

As CFO, Johnson’s authority will be on the same level as that of an assistant superintendent. He is expected to assume his duties with the District in mid-August.
