School Board Calls Another Meeting for April 9 at 6 p.m.

The school board has called another special meeting for Wednesday, April 9 at 6 p.m. to consider hiring an interim superintendent and to discuss personnel performance.

The school board is allowed to go into closed session to discuss personnel, but must vote in public.

A special called meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Cleburne Independent School District will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2008 beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the Board Room of the Cleburne Independent School District at 505 N. Ridgeway, Cleburne, Texas.

The subjects to be discussed or considered or upon which any formal action may be taken are listed below. Items do not have to be taken in the same order as shown on this meeting notice.

Unless removed from the consent agenda, items identified with the consent agenda will be acted on at one time.


1. Discussion of Applicants for Superintendent Position (TGC551.074)
2. Discussion of Candidates for Interim Superintendent Position (TGC551.074)
3. Consider Hiring Interim Superintendent (TGC551.074)
4. Discussion of Performance of Personnel (TGC551.074)


If, during the course of the meeting, discussion of any item on the agenda should be held in a closed meeting, the Board will conduct a closed meeting in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Government Code, Chapter 551, Subchapters D and E or Government Code section 418.183(f). Before any closed meeting is convened, the presiding officer will publicly identify the section or sections of the Act authorizing the closed meeting.
