Mike Bailey Quietly Resigns from CISD

April 13, 2009 – Mike Bailey, former CISD financial officer, has resigned from his position as Assistant Superintendent effective June 30, 2009. The school board quietly accepted his resignation as part of the Consent Agenda April 13. Bailey has not been at the school for several weeks, and he is not expected to be there in the future, but is being paid until the end of June.

The school board also accepted the resignation of Brandon Lehrmann, accounting assistant, effective March 31, 2009.

CleburnePolitics.com submitted an Open Records request for a copy of Bailey’s resignation on March 26. Ten business days after the OR request, CISD’s Dr. Callendar called and said there would be a delay over the 10-day deadline for providing it. CISD has still not provided the document as of April 15.
